Dr. Nicolas J. Dowdy

Dr. Dowdy earned his B.S. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Arizona and his Ph.D. in Biology from Wake Forest University. Currently, he is the curator of the MPM zoological collection and leads the Zoology Department there.
His curatorial expertise is with the Lepidoptera, with an emphasis on the family Erebidae. His ongoing research at MPM includes the taxonomy, systematics, and evolution of anti-predator defenses and mating strategies within the tiger moths (Lepidoptera: Erebidae: Arctiinae).
Dr. Nathan P. Lemoine

Dr. Lemoine earned his B.S. in Biology and Environmental Studies from the University of Richmond and his Ph.D. in Biology from Florida International University. Currently, he is a trophic and ecosystems ecologist in the Department of Biological Sciences at Marquette University.
His research expertise is with the effects of global change on plant-insect interactions. His ongoing research at includes work on the ecology of insects in Wisconsin prairies and African savannas.
